Connect the Microphone to your PC and configurate the Sound

The microphone can be directly connected to your music equipment or to your soundcard.

If your music equipment has the Karaoke option it is recommendable that you directly connect it to the equipment. Follow the given steps:

- Connect the Microphone to your PC
- Configurate Windows to activate the MIC
- Configurate Windows to record the Sound
- RResolution of possible Problems

CONNECT THE MICROPHONE TO THE PC

1 Look for your soundcard on the backside of your PC, for example:

the connector of the microphone uses to be red, and it normally has a small drawing of a little microphone.

2 The microphone includes an adapter of 3,5mm to 6,3mm. In order to connect it in the sound card we will have to take it out.

Adaptador a 6,3mm

3 Connect the microphone to the line-in of your soundcard (see point 1).

CONFIGURATE WINDOWS TO ACTIVATE THE MICROPHONE

Now you can try your microphone and if you cannot hear it follow the next steps.

1 Go from KaraokeKanta to soundproperties by clicking on the soundproperties button:
(situated on the left)

The next dialog will show up:

Volume Dialog

if the section corresponding to the microphone doesn't appear (red box 1) go to point 2. Here it is necessary to review that "Silence" is deactivated (red box 2) and be sure that the volume is high (red box 3).

2 If you are here it is because "Microphone" has not appeared in the previous section.

In the same dialog of the previous section, click in the menu "Options" and select the option "Properties", and the next dialog will show up:

Properties Dialog

here you will see the option "Reproduction" selected (red box 1) and activated the "Microphone" on the list (red box 2), accept the dialog and review point 1

CONFIGURATION THE SOUND OF THE MICROPHONE

The next steps are similar to the previous configuration.

1 Go from KaraokeKanta to soundproperties by clicking on the soundproperties button:
(situated on the left)

2 In the dialog "Volume Control", click in the menu "Options" and select the option "Properties", then the next dialog will show up:

here you will have to select the option "Recording" (red-box 1) and activate the "Microphone" (red-box 2) and "Mixed Sound" (red-box 3 ), in some soundcards this last option can be called "All you hear" or any kind of synonymous that indicates that voice and music must be recorded. Accept the dialog.

3 Now another dialog shows up "Record Control" ATTENTION ! this is not the same as "Volume Control" this one configurates the Recording outputs.

Here you have to review in the section "Mixed Sound "(red box 1) or "all you hear" that it is activated "Select" (red box 2) and that the volume is high. (red box 3).

RESOLUTION OF PROBLEMS
I hear the Microphone but much to low.

Review the volume of the microphone (see point 1), if you have it on the highest level and the sound is still low, review the section "Volume Control" of the dialog in point 1, this controls the volume of everthing that can be heard in your soundcard.

If you still don't obtain a good sound, in the dialog of point 1 click in the menu "Options" and select the options "Advanced Controls" you will see that in the "Microphone" section appear (below) a button which says "Advanced", click there, another dialog will be shown, activate there the option which appears in the lower part "Reforce Microphone".

If after that you have no sound, you probably have an installation problem of your soundcard.

ATTENTION: Prohibited the total or partial reproduction without previous permission.
